The product in the catalog looked like it had a base that would fit under the mattress, but that wasn’t the reality. It doesn’t work with a divan bed. The woman who placed the order didn’t notice that it’s not suitable for a divan, and honestly, it doesn’t mention that anywhere. It also doesn’t clarify that you need to buy a specific bed from Sheldon's. That’s a pretty big oversight. Not only was it the wrong fit, but it was also delivered to the wrong address—number 56 instead of my place at 46. I had to make 8 phone calls and take a long trek to get it sorted out. After a bunch of calls, we found out it was completely unacceptable. We ended up having to return this useless item at our own expense. Then, the customer service rep, after a lot of back and forth, informed me that they wouldn’t refund the full amount because I had to pay for it not being delivered to my home. This led to my husband wandering around on a dark, windy night looking for it. Definitely not first-class service, and there was no apology or refund. What a waste!

The bed actuator I got was defective (not Shelden's issue since it was still in the manufacturer's original sealed packaging), but within a day of letting them know, we had a replacement unit. Now that's what I call 5-star service!

The following day, we got a call to arrange the delivery and setup. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, we couldn’t proceed with the purchase. We reached out to Shelden Healthcare, and they were incredibly understanding and supportive during a tough and emotional time. While some folks had voiced worries about refunds, our experience was quite the opposite. Shelden Healthcare processed our refund quickly and professionally. The staff we interacted with were consistently helpful and empathetic. If we ever need anything else in the future, we wouldn’t think twice about buying from this company again.

The installation done by Danielle the very next day was top-notch. She was friendly, courteous, and super knowledgeable. I can't find a single thing to complain about. This is the second occasion where Shelden has transformed a potential disaster into something manageable for us. Their level of service, care for customers, and expertise is unmatched. Everything went smoothly from the order to the delivery. The chat feature really helped me make my choice. We opted for the home setup service, and it was definitely worth the extra bucks. The only downside was that the bed was marketed as adjustable down to 16 inches, which was ideal for us. But, they didn’t factor in the thickness of the mattress. Thankfully, it wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s something to keep in mind.

The product showed up broken. Shelden took care of getting it picked up and swapped out for a new one in just 2 days - really great service.

The wheelchair was really nice, but I had to call and nudge Sheldon about the courier not picking it up. Only after that did it finally show up with the courier. Then, the courier misplaced the chair, and it ended up in London. When it got here, the box looked pretty beat up, but thankfully, the chair itself was fine.

I ordered a bed and mattress online, and they called me the same day to set up delivery and installation. Engineer Steve Robinson showed up shortly after I got the heads-up that he was en route. He arrived not long after and got right to work assembling and setting up the bed. We highly recommend the installation service from Shelden Healthcare. Steve took the time to explain all the controls for the various adjustments available on the bed. He’s friendly, approachable, and super helpful.
